The MVLE Moves inclusive performing arts program was featured in a story in The Washington Post magazine earlier this month. The article highlighted the partnership between MVLE and BodyWise Dance, the group that facilitates the MVLE Moves program.

MVLE and BodyWise Dance began the MVLE Moves program in 2015 with weekly movement expression classes. The success of the program led to the creation of an inclusive, matched-ability, performance ensemble that includes individuals with disabilities and professional actors. The ensemble will debut their 4th original production in spring 2020.

“Through art and music, it’s an opportunity for people to feel the same things that we all want, and to connect to their lives and have choices on what they want to do and who they want to be.” shares April Pinch-Keeler, MVLE President & CEO
