Together with United Way of the National Capital Area, we are mobilizing the giving spirit of the DMV during this year’s Do More 24 movement.
Now in its 8th year, Do More 24 is an exciting 24-hour giving day, powered by United Way of the National Capital Area. This year we have even bigger plans! Do More 24 is syncing with #GivingTuesdayNow – a global movement for generosity in this unprecedented time of need.
Like many other businesses and programs, MVLE was forced to close our programs in Mid-March. While we are hopeful to re-open soon, we understand it is a long road ahead. But we will continue to find hope.
Finding hope in connecting virtually through our programs like Morning Moves with our partners BodyWise Dance.
Finding hope in new job placements for individuals like Coy, who started a new job at Giant this month and Mic who was hired by Amazon.
Finding hope in the resiliency of our community.
