April Pinch-Keeler
President

April Pinch-Keeler has been President of MVLE since November 2003. April, an MVLE veteran since 1994, advocated for the rights of the disabled since she was 12 years old. Pinch-Keeler has more than 20 years of experience in managing and directing services for people with disabilities. April has provided overall supervision and direction of the agency’s services and programs. She is responsible for the development of marketing materials to promote both the agency and the generation of jobs for individuals. She has effectively managed MVLE`s contract procurement programs, contract negotiations, contract development, as well as contract monitoring and evaluation. On the individual side, Pinch-Keeler often makes public presentations concerning program information and individual advocacy issues and has developed an extensive school graduate transition program. Her roles within MVLE often require the ability to work effectively with a diversity of personnel and establish effective liaison roles with contract agencies, other community agencies and individual groups. She excels at creating innovative solutions to the challenges that face not-for-profit organizations.

Kenan Aden
Sr. Vice President Programs

Kenan has been with MVLE for over 9 years. Kenan has been instrumental in developing new job opportunities for individuals served in the CES department, as well as enhancing MVLE’s focus on customer service and regulation compliance. Kenan is a successful story for MVLE he started here as a Direct Support Staff and grown through the agency and is now the Sr. Vice President of Program Services. He knows and lives the MVLE mission.

  Ken Rush 
VP of Contracts and Business Development
Ken has been with MVLE Inc for 2 years. He is currently holding the position of VP of Contracts and Business Development and has built a strong business development team. Ken has been working with community rehabilitation program throughout Virginia since 1998. Previously, his career focused on sales, marketing and business development.
 
Samantha DiCola
VP of Administration

Samantha has been with MVLE, Inc since August of 2005. She is currently holding the position of VP of Administration. Samantha has worked in the field of Human Resources for 7 years. Over the last four years Samantha has learned the ins and outs of the Programs side of the agency so that she can be more effective with the Administrative function of the agency. At MVLE, she has been in the HR Manager position and the Director of HR. She currently holds an associates degree in Interdisciplinary studies, HR Generalist Certification and is working toward her BS in Business Administration. She is also received her certification as a SPHR.

Michelle Lotrecchiano
Director of Rehab Program Compliance

Michelle has been with MVLE for 10 years. In November of 1999 she joined MVLE as a Rehabilitation Specialist for the Center-Based program, and a few years later was promoted to Asst. Director and has grown into the current position as the Director of Rehab Program Compliance. Michelle has a wide range of experience and knowledge that she is able to share with all the services that MVLE provides.

Alexandra Koury
Director of Marketing

Alex Koury has been with MVLE since June of 2005. She holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University; she also holds certifications in non-profit marketing and Leadership Communication. Alex is active with the Greater Springfield, Mt. Vernon-Lee and Fairfax County Chambers and various other professional networking associations. She is the go to girl for building relationships with MVLE for, employment needs in your business and community, sponsorship opportunities to support MVLE’s programs and Document Management sales. If she can’t help you, she will find someone who can. She can build a relationship that will not only better your business but also help the community see the importants of your business through community out reach.

Suzette Gross

Director of Business Development for Digital Mail

Suzette Gross has eighteen years of progressively responsible experience in business development, sales, marketing, and contract operations, focusing over the last ten years on creation of contracts and jobs for people with disabilities. Her last job prior to joining the Business Development unit of MVLE was National Business Development Manager for NISH, a Central Nonprofit Agency overseeing the AbilityOne Program, which provides more than two billion dollars per year in products and services for the federal government, and employs more than 40,000 people with severe disabilities.

Board Member Biographies

Frank Doe has been a MVLE Board Member since 1966. He currently serves as the Past chairperson and is a member of the Finance Committee and Audit Committee. Frank’s expertise in financial planning has provided a wealth of information to MVLE over the years and has contributed to the growth of MVLE’s finance department, as well.

Joe Apa is the Chairman of MVLE’s Board of Directors and serves on the Finance Committee. Joe has served on the Board of Directors since 1993. As Vice Chair, Joe brings a solid financial perspective to the Board and uses his expertise to analyze, evaluate and recommend sound financial business decisions to benefit the agency. Joe is also a senior Board Member with a great deal of historical knowledge that is beneficial when making current board decisions and sharing this knowledge with newer Board Members.

Mark Beerthius is the Secretary of the Board. He has been on the board for 2 years and has been a great Asset.

Scott Mendelson joined MVLE’s Board of Directors in 2006. Currently, he is the Chair of the Business Development Committee. His area of expertise is promoting agency awareness through marketing initiatives, fundraising planning and assistance, and general business consulting. Scott is very dedicated to the mission of MVLE, Inc.

Karen Roberson has been a member of MVLE’s Board since 1998 and currently sits on the Legislative Affairs Committee. Having a son in MVLE’s program gives her personal insight, experience, knowledge and resources to share with other members and the agency. Karen also has a number of years experience with the school system, Social Security Administration, the county services board, Special Olympics, The ARC and supported housing, which impacts MVLE and its consumers and staff.

Gay Shane has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2004. She is the Vice Chairman of the Board and is currently the head of the Human Resources Committee and has been an invaluable advisor on security issues for MVLE. Gay has 17 years experience in physical and information security and 22 years experience in Human Resources and Administration. She also has more than 20 years of non-profit board experience.

Paul Seigle has been a Board Member since October 2004. Paul is currently the Chairperson of the IT Committee. Paul has provided the agency’s IT department with valuable information pertaining to managing and operating the IT system.

Gary Bojes
has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2004. Gary is the Treasurer of MVLE’s Board of Directors, and he currently serves as the Chairperson of the Finance Committee.

Carl Ericson became a member of the MVLE Board of Directors in 2008 and is chair of the legislative committee of the MVLE board. Carl has extensive experience in the fields of corporate communications, journalism, public affairs, media and public relations. He also has experience in crisis communications and branding.
