MVLE achieves its mission by offering individuals a variety of services in six major programs. Each individual's person-centered plan includes appropriate combinations of support, training and - when feasible and desired - employment opportunities.
We are committed to providing services that reflect the choices of individuals served and designing opportunities to increase functional capacity, skill building, community access and employment. Learning and growth are maximized within a safe environment that promotes individual dignity and self-worth, and introduces appropriate challenges.

In addition, the services of contracted occupational, physical, ,speech and language therapists are made available on-site by MVLE.

Each facility has a fully-equipped clinic, including emergency care supplies. MVLE employs three nurses who staff the clinics. The nurses provide general nursing care, monitoring, seizure care, specialized treatments and emergency care as needed.
